Am I there already??? UGH!!

This is Miss Priss loving on her little cousin. Miss Priss is 12 1/2. Almost a teenager but not quite yet. I need more time you see. I am not ready to have two teenage girls in my house. I need more time to get used to the idea. The main reason has nothing really to do with my teenage girls, but rather with the teenage boys that come around once little girls turn into teenage girls. So today when Miss Priss got out of the van in front of her middle school and an almost teenage boy got out of his Mom's SUV and "checked her out" I wanted to scream

"No I'm not ready!!"

Of course it was very subtle, he glanced back twice and then smiled shyly at her but I knew, oh yes I knew. I'm just hoping that she didn't. So I have to ask, do you think I am kidding myself when I think that she didn't even notice????






So all my friends with almost teenage boys don't hate me. Let me add that I know it is just as stressful for Mom's of teenage boys to get used to the idea of teenage girls.....

"Friday I'm in Love"

It's raining today, and I am having trouble getting motivated. Could be because my dog got me up at 3 A.M when the storm started. She hates storms and lets everyone know it.


The Englishman has been off this week and it's been nice having him home. He went down to Englewood to play golf with my Uncle for one night and two days and Mighty Mouth was thrilled to sleep in our bed with me. I cherished it because I know one day that won't be a big deal anymore. ( I hope LOL )

We're having a family get together Saturday for my Aunt Sharon's Birthday on Saturday night (Happy Birthday Aunt Sharon)and I am looking forward to it, should be a good time.


In two weeks the girls and I have a week off for Spring Break. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I finally watched the movie Marley and ME last night with Mighty Mouth and Miss Priss it was wonderful and yes, I cried my eyes out. Marley reminded me so much of our dog HIGH MAINTENANCE although I will say she is not quite as bad.

Walk/Run in first 5K race.....CHECK!!!!

Saturday was Fantastic!!!! Well, it was pouring down rain and extremely cold for Florida but I did it. I was really nervous and intimidated and not sure how it was going to go. (So much so that I almost bailed and didn't do it until my best friend knocked some sense into me) My time sucked, mostly because I just wasn't focused on my time and also because I walked most of it except the very last bit. (you know I had to RUN over that FINISH line) I will definitly do a 5k again and next time I will be running the whole thing.

The picture of Tricia and I was taken right before the race (obviously before the rain when my hair still looked decent). I will post pictures taken after the race when I get them. I didn't have my camera so we had a race photographer take our picture. You have to know my best friend to know that I will have several pictures from after because she instructed the guy on how many and what poses we wanted. LOL

The first picture is the front windows of my friends and neighbors house. Wasn't that so sweet. That is what I saw when I turned down my street. My neighbor is a marathon runner and ran the 1/2 marathon the next day but still he and his wonderful wife made it all about me on Saturday. They are the best!!!!

Happy Birthday to my Mom who celebrated 61 yesterday!!! I love you Mom!!

Congratulations to my best friend Tricia who RAN THE WHOLE 5K on Saturday. I am SO PROUD of you... I love you!!!!
